“In a soulmate we find not company but a completed solitude.” (Robert Brault)

These series try to reveal and represent the hidden aspects of the Swan River, one of the most crucial sites in Western Australia. The photographs in the series are taken in the night time by using long shutter speeds to produce magical, mystical images of the Swan River. These series are hoped to be a little reminder about the beauty of solitude through the imagery nightscapes of the Swan River.

“I Come and See”
I come to find the unpainted colours embracing my darkness
I come to hear the unsaid words whispering my silence
I come to share the unwaking dreams surrounding my thoughts
I come to knock the unrevealed voices answering my confession
I come to witness the unseen eyes striking my doubt
I come to listen to the unplayed laughter orchestrating my emptiness
I come to see you
I come to see me

(Dedicated to my lovely wife)
