One of the most important celebrations in the Chinese calendar is Chinese New Year. In January 23, 2012, the year 4710 starts. Every Chinese year represents an animal and the year 4710 is the year of the Water Dragon.

In Chinese tradition, new year celebration is mostly about succeeding the prosperity and wealth to others and it is usually represented by giving some money inside a red envelope that is known as ‘angpao’. Some older people usually give ‘ang pao’ to the younger ones. Also married couples normally give ‘ang pao’ to the singles.
